The Rise & Drive meet-up was not very well attended by the Oppomeet, but those who did missed quite a show!
The show was put on by Collector’s Car Garage, a storage facility geared toward owners of rare/vintage/exotic cars. Some of the cars being stored there are nothing short of amazing. Others that showed up weren’t half bad, either!

The 275 and a McLaren M8a Can-Am racer. More on the McLaren later.
This car drew a LOT of attention once it was pushed outside!
The writing over the rear wheels: “This car is wrapped, not painted”. I surely hope so!
The goodies of the McLaren Can-Am car exposed!
I had no idea these existed! If anyone has some history/video of these bad boys, I’d LOVE to see them!

One of these is not like the other...
The highlight of the morning was hearing both the story of the m8a and it being fired up! The car will be on display in Monterrey as part of Can-Am’s 50th anniversary celebration.
All in all, it was a great time! I hope to attend more of next year’s Oppo Meet-Up and enjoy spending time with more of y’all!

It was wearing a Bowtie, so my guess is a custom Blazer/Suburban. The paint on it was wild!
